Will the Lend-A-Hand AM-300 fit on my 2021 Wildcat T282RKX & Will I Need to Retrofit it?

Will the Lend-A-Hand AM-300 fit on my 2021 Wildcat T282RKX? And will I have to do any “retrofit” modifications.

Hello Mike,
Yes, the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle for RVs # AM-300 is a great added safety feature to any camper including your 2021 Wildcat T282RKX. The # T282RKX is installed into the door stud, the only time that it would need to be "retrofitted" is if you cannot locate the stud, at that time you would need longer screws and plates to securely attach it. You can check for the stud by using a stud finder, or by knocking on the outside to listen for the difference between the hollow knock until you find that solid sound. I do not have the schematics to the campers, it would make my life a whole lot easier if I did. If you are still unsure if there is a stud you could always try reaching out to the manufacturer of the trailer sometimes they are able to send you the schematics.
I included a video of an install that my buddy Dave did for you to check out as well. After you get things set up, please let me know what you think of it.

Hey Mike, how did the Lend-A-Hand grab handle work out on your Wildcat? Were you able to find the door stud without needing any retrofit parts? Your update could make it easier for others adding the same handle to their camper.
