Can Curt Q25 Fixed Hitch Work with 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Short Bed

Question:

Looking at the Curt Q25 hitch for my 25 Chevy 3500HD, crew cab 4 door, 82 bed. Website says 8 bed. Will it work in the 82 bed?

Hey Vince, yes the Curt Q25 fixed hitch part # C97FR can be used in the bed of your 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500 with OEM pucks. This is a fixed hitch which means it doesn't have a way to gain additional turning clearance like what is normally needed with short bed trucks like yours...HOWEVER nowadays most fifth wheel campers have tapered noses or pivoting pin boxes to allow for short bed turning clearance that does not require a slider so most likely this will work just fine for you.

If you let me know what camper you have I can check out the front of it and see if you'd be good or not.

@VinceG So looked up the Keystone Fusion 373 and it has a tapered nose plus an extended pin box so you'd be fine with a fixed hitch like what you mentioned. It helps your truck's "short" bed is on the longer side of being a short bed.
