Height Range of Curt Q20 that Fits OEM Pucks of 2025 GMC Sierra 3500

Question:
What will be the head heights above the truck bed when you have a curt q20 head and the cu53fr sides? It says the cu53fr side plates are only for a long box puck system. If i can get by on a short box 2025 gmc for turning with a fixed hitch head will the legs fit. Want to convert my pin mount type hitch to a stationary hitch and eliminate the puck to pin adapter plate so hitch can mount directly into the factory gm puck system.

Hey Fred, The Curt Q20 hitch configuration that fits your 2025 GMC Sierra 3500 with the OEM pucks and the leg kit part # CU53FR is the # C57FR and it has a height range of 13-17 inches.
This will fit the pucks you have in your truck as the short bed and long bed trucks have the exact same puck setups.

You answered part of my question. If i take the slider legs off my q20 hitch configuration can i take the head assembly and bolt on the cu53fr leg kit and end up with a fixed configuration the same as a c57fr
