Does Using 6 Diode Tow Bar Wiring Kit Require Use of Brake Light Relay

Question:
I am setting up a 2014 Honda CRV AWD to tow. I am getting the 6 Diode kit 154-792-118158. My RV is a 1990 HMC diesel pusher and it has combined lights. Do I need the RM-88400 Brake light relay? I read a bunch of QandA on this site and saw yes and no. So can you please clarify? Thank you very much,

Hey Bill, if you are using a 6 diode tow bar wiring kit like the # 154-792-118158 and you plan to have the stoplights and turn signals separate on the towed vehicle you would not need to also use a brake light relay since the blinkers will be on their own circuit and the brake pedal/stop light circuit would not be able to override it.
