Interior Dimensions of DeeZee Utility Chest Toolbox # DZM207

Question:

I am interested in the interior dimensions of the M207. I would like to modify it to hold my two 6v batteries I carry on the tongue of my RV. Specifically I need the height of the interior of the box when the lid is closed to prevent my posts from shorting out on the lid.

According to the nice folks at DeeZee, the # M207 Utility Box is 12-1/2 inches tall, not including the lid. The inside dimension from the floor to the top of the box (also not including the lid) would be right at 12-7/16 inches.
