Question:
What is the difference between this and the DU66UR? I have 3/8 inch thick chains to secure.

Hey Paul,
Slip Hooks like the # DU93UR feature a safety latch to prevent he chain from being able to back off of the hook if the chain became loose. Grab hooks like # DU66UR don't have the safety latch feature but have a thinner opening, which helps prevent the chain loop from slipping once secured to the hook.
Grab hooks are good for when you need to quickly secure a chain, shorten the chain, or make adjustments to your load since they're easier to work with without that safety latch. Slip hooks are good for when you need to secure a chain or rope to a lifting point and need the added security of the latch. The wider opening of the slip hook will allow the chain or rope can easily slide back forth through the opening, whereas the grab hook would prevent the chain from moving once hooked.
The # DU93UR and # DU66UR are both rated for 6,600lbs (safe working weight load limit). If you don't need something as heavy-duty we also offer the # DU43UR, which is a slip hook with a 4,700lb capacity.
