Loose chains and exposed handles can create risk on the road or when parked. This ratchet binder delivers 8,800 lbs of holding power with dual 3/8" cradle grab hooks and a 1/2" sling hook, keeping chain connections tight.
Loads can shift as you drive, and uneven tension across chains makes it worse. The ratchet mechanism works with a 1" ACME screw to apply and hold tension as you tighten, keeping consistent pressure across the connection. Once set, the chain stays engaged and holding position while driving.
Handles that stick out can move during transport or draw attention when parked. The forged handle folds down against the binder body, reducing how far it extends and limiting movement from vibration. With the handle tucked in, the setup stays compact and remains in place while traveling.
Not every load lines up with the same connection points, which can slow down setup. This binder uses two 3/8" cradle grab hooks and one 1/2" sling hook to give you multiple attachment options. That flexibility lets you connect where you need to and keep the chain properly engaged across different setups.

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Durabilt ratchet binder. It's gonna include a fold over handle, and you're gonna get two three-eighth inch cradle grab hooks and a half inch sling hook. Now this is rated at 8,800 pounds of working load limit and the proof load limit of 17,600 pounds. So this is gonna be a great option in size for, I'd say medium duty load securement. So whether it's a small tractor vehicle, something of that nature.
And the handle is a forged holdover design. And as you probably already know, you simply can ratchet everything up by spinning this and it's gonna in turn, draw in those Acme screws. These are one inch Acme screws on both sides. You have a total of eight inches of tank up, so four on this side, four inches on this side. The main, excuse me, the main tube here is 10 inches long.
As far as right here in the middle, the handle is 14 inches long. And then of course you have your main half inch hook. And then again, the two three-eighth inch grab hooks here on both ends. Obviously, everything here is made of a heavy duty steel. It's very well built.
If you've used these before, the great thing with these again, is that you can fold over this handle. It's easy to store. And not only that, you can lock it. So there's a hole here in the handle. Padlock not included.
You put some kind of a lock through here and probably through your chain link, something of that nature. And that's gonna keep it locked where no one can loosen it, tighten it anymore or get into your gear. And then when it's time to put this little toolbox, wherever you store it, it does fold up nice and small as far as the size and everything that it's taken up in the toolbox or storage compartment. So it's a very nice option for space saving and those kind of things as well. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look together, folks. This will work with five-16th inch to three-eighth inch chain as far as the size of chains. If you have any other questions I didn't cover or if you need answer, reach out to us here at etrailer. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
