Recommended RV Rated E-Bike Bike Rack w/ a Ramp

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/18/2024

Question:

Thank you Jerred! We will need to choose a rack that allows for a ramp. The one up and the quikrstuff have fender solutions (we had already cut back the front fender to work with our current rocky mounts backstage swing away). So we might cut back or remove the rear fender to allow one of those. We also like the ability to store folded. With our age we find it increasingly difficult to use the Rocky mounts with the heavier bike— though i do think it’s an excellent rack and we’ve used it on 1000 mile round trips.

You're welcome Alex! I have one other option but you're going to need to lose 3 lbs a piece on your e-bikes. The Swagman Escapee RV Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # S39SR is rated for RV use and has an available ramp that can be purchased separately item # S59SR.

The Swagman Escapee item # S39SR has a 60 lbs per bike capacity and can be folded up for storage purposes when not in use. I have linked a review video below so you can see the functions of this bike rack demonstrated.

Hey Alex, how did things go with the Swagman Escapee rack and ramp option for your e-bikes? It sounds like the fold-up feature and ramp could make loading a lot easier. Your feedback could really help others looking for a lighter setup.
