Can The Seals On A Kwikee Level Best 3000 Leveling System Be Replaced

Question:

I have Lippert 3000 Jacks on my Winnebago. Can the seals be replaced on these jacks?? Also what is the wiring on top of the jack? Does it just unplug?

Hi Mike,

The Kwikee Level Best 3000 leveling system that your Winnebago has is discontinued and the replacement jacks that we used to offer are discontinued as well so you'd either need to reach out to the original company that manufactured the cylinders for Kwikee, Custom Cylinders International, to get the jacks rebuilt or just completely replace the system.

Any electrical wiring would need to be cut since they're typically wired to the jack with butt connectors instead of a removable plug. That being said, the installer for the system could've used different connectors that might be removable without cutting the wire. You'll have to see how yours is set up to see if you'll need to cut the wire.

Personally, I would give the manufacturer a call and see if they can fix the damaged jacks to avoid the huge cost of replacing the entire system.
