Im looking for a duel purpose hitch so I can tow my sxs and 6 bikes. But it looks like My tow capacity decreases with them? Can you help me find a product that will not cut down my tongue weight or tow capacity? Vechile is 2019 durango rt, trailer and sxs about 5000 lbs. bikes and rack about 250 lbs. Thank you

Hi Riley; almost all adapters like this will reduce the capacity by 50% but I do have a solution. What you can use is the Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-304. The Gen-Y is built like a tank and does not reduce the capacity.
The stacked receivers give you a variety of height options to carry your bike rack while towing your trailer. It has a gross towing weight of 10,000 lbs and 1,500 lb tongue weight capacity so as long as your hitch/vehicle can handle it so can the Gen-Y. This has a 7-1/2" rise/drop but if you need more we also have the # 325-GH-305 with a 10" rise/drop.
