Is Trailer Alignment Required After Install of Roadmaster Comfort Ride

Question:

After installing the comfort ride suspension on a tandem axle 5th wheel, is there any need to check the alignment? Is there any adjustment in the system to correct the alignment if needed? Or is it fixed based on where the spring hangers are welded to the frame? Whats the best way to verify the axles are still properly aligned?

Hey Mike, in our experience it is not needed to make any alignment adjustments after the install of the Comfort Ride System part # RM-2470-2580 but there is a pretty easy way to determine alignment. Measure from the end of the spindle to the centerline of the trailer at the coupler. I have attached a diagram showing this measurement for you.

Next measure from spindle center to spindle center from front to back and make sure the dimensions are same on both sides.
