Updated 10/29/2024 | Published 10/27/2024

Question:

Dear Sir, My 16’ one Axle Jaco Camper needs complete Brake assembly. The Brake number is : 122258 I seen your website that you do have the Brakes, I need the Bakes right and left, the backing plates, bearings, washers complete brake assembly. Do you have these as a Package? Possibly with self adjust brakes and assembled? I am also open for suggestions if there are other brands that exactly matches my brakes. Thanks for your response in advance.

Hey Michael, thanks for reaching out!

To replace your brakes, you'll need to go with the Lippert Electric Trailer Brakes # LC66WD. We have some other brands that look like they would work, but from our experience it's a coincidence if they actually do fit.

In order to get the correct replacement bearing kit I'll need to know what the bearing and grease seal part numbers are that fit with your current hub.

My brakes are not on the Axle you mentioned. The Brakes with part number 122258 that I wrote before are on a 3500 axle. Attach is the info about the Axle. I sent the attachment to your email.

@MichaelN Thank you for that! In that case, you need the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA and 2 of the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K, or just the Replacement Hub Bearing Kit # BK2-100 if you don't need the hub/drum assembly. If you're needing to replace the entire axle as well, we unfortunately don't have any that meet the hub face and spring center dimensions in the photo you sent. In that case, you'll need the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension w Electric Brakes # A35RS545E or you'll need to have a local trailer shop order a custom axle for you that matches those specs.
