Question:

Greetings. I have just purchased a 16 foot enclosed cargo. I’m looking into etracks for the floors and wall I would like that table /bench. Which type of tracking for the walls is best. Vertical or horizontal? The studs are 24 inches on center Thanks Any other good accessories I should consider to increase my foor space? There will be lots of containers I don’t want sliding around

Hi McCamer; what I would do is make a sketch of everything you're wanting to use the tracks for to see what would work best for you, horizontal or vertical tracks. If you want to use the # E19148 to attach the table bracket # 3481744 they will have to run horizontally.

Instead of E Track, I recommend using the X Track # 3481788 which will allow you to choose how you want to mount the tracks since they work in both orientations. This ads a lot of versatility overall as you mount things in the trailer. It also gives you the ability to switch them back and forth if you decide a different orientation would work best later on. You will probably want some straps like # EM59136 to keep those containers secure.

Thanks. The more I look the more I find. The more confused I get I just found x and e track singles This might work for mounting table. With singles both bolts will screw into the bracing Looking at mounting the spare with one of them Looking in the internet for longer “singles” style There is a local supplier of e tracks. Got to get my tape measure and see if there are holes in the track every 2 feet to mount horizontally..,.a high track to hang things. A low one for securing stuff on the floor Any suggestions on how far down from the roof line to mount and how high off the floor? Guess I need to put something in now. Make it work with the objects I put in down the road It being a 7 foot wide interior floor.,,, I’m thinking an e track approx 1.5 feet from the wall. About 8 feet length each side. It’s a 16 foot with V nose. Just wondering how putting flat bottom material will be effected Another “brilliant” thought!?? Thinking about getting some paint and grit to coat the ramp and floor. Hopefully less of a slip factor??

@Mccamer yeah if you're using the same containers/objects I would throw them in there to see what kind of space you have to work with and where it could all potentially sit before mounting the tracks. Position doesn't really matters as long as it is securely mounted and in a usable space for your application.
