Question:
Hi We need some advice. We have an Entegra Accolade 2022 37k. We have 2 12v starter batteries, Aliance A66-01551-003 wired in parallel. We also have 4 house batteries, Harris 6v HBDAGMGC6-A, two sets of two are wired in series, then those are wired in parallel, 12v system. We are looking at using the NoCo GenPro 10x3 to maintain the batteries during storage this winter. Will this work and how would we place the leads on the house batteries. Also will it hurt the batteries to be stored in a covered but outside storage unit in northern Michigan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Great questions, Susan - and thanks for providing all of the details!
While you can technically use the 3 Bank NOCO GENPRO On-Board Battery Charger # NOC74FR to keep all of your batteries charged (if they are in the 12V series configuration), we've heard from multiple of our manufacturers who make these battery charging kits that the chargers can struggle to read both batteries when they are connected in series so it's best practice to get a charger that connects to each individual battery so they all get the best and most accurate charge.
For your application I recommend picking up the NOCO GEN On-Board Battery Charger # NOC34FR for your 12V starter batteries, and the NOCO Genius Multi-Bank Smart Battery Charger # NOC57FR for your 6V house batteries so each battery has it's own connection.
If your covered storage has some climate control then you'll be just fine, but if the batteries will be fairly exposed to outside temps in the Michigan winter then I definitely don't recommend keeping them out there - you'll want to store them somewhere that won't get near freezing as that will lower the life of your batteries.

Thank you so much. You are the first person in days, who’s given us an answer that makes sense to us. Not necessarily what we wanted to hear about removing the batteries, as we are in our 70s those things are heavy, but it is what it is. You can be sure that we will order the chargers from etrailer. Our hope is to travel south for the winter again and not have to deal with the cold. But due to health issues, that may not be possible so this is our contingency plan. Thanks again, Harry and Susan.
