Can two bank units be used in 2 battery diesel pickup parallel systems without isolating /disconnecting the batteries?

Yes, you can use the NOCO GEN On-Board Battery Charger # NOC34FR on your pickup's parallel batteries without disconnecting them. If your batteries were in a series, they would have to be disconnected. Since your batteries are parallel and maintain a 12v load but have increased amp capacity, then it is actually ideal to have both of them charging with these banks. Just make sure each bank is connected to its own 12V battery.

One thing to note is that the NOCO Gen5x2 # NOC34FR is the mini (but also newer) 2 bank charger and it charges 5-amp per bank. If you need a little more charging amperage, we also have the NOCO Gen2 # NOC64FR which is a bit larger but also charges 10 amps per battery bank.

Charging two parallel marine batteries, both 12 volt. One is the starting batter, a deep cycle version and the other a standard house battery. Both Lead Acid. My question is about how I hook them up to charge both at the same time. I have a NOCO 2x2 so there are two sets of leads. Do I connect to positive on one battery and negative on the other?

@TomL You'll need to connect a set of leads to each battery. It seems reasonable to use one set of leads since the batteries are tied together already, but I've actually talked to Noco about this before and they said that the best way to make sure both batteries get a full charge is to connect the leads to each individual battery so that's what I recommend doing.
