Question:
Hi, We’re looking to sell our tundra and get a pickup that is flat towable behind our camper. However, we use the tundra to plow our driveway and the new truck would be the same. Are there baseplates for flat towing that either allow us to keep the plow mounts on the truck or are there combo plow mount/tow plates available?

Hey Jeffrey,
There unfortunately aren't interchangeable baseplates and snow plow mounts so you would need to figure out what baseplate is going to sit low enough to not interfere with the placement of a weld-on front mounted trailer hitch receiver so that you can flat tow and still connect to a snow plow.
This is likely going to require a lot of custom work to complete so I would start by picking out the truck and see what baseplates and front trailer hitches fit it and where they sit/attach to so you can see if they'll interfere with each other. Most custom-fit options are likely not going to fit with the baseplate so you'll probably have to go with a weld-on adjustable-fit hitch. These hitches fit 18" to 44" wide vehicle frames and come with the following drop sizes:
Draw-Tite
7" Drop # 41990-07
16" Drop # 41990-16
Curt
3" Drop # 15901
9" Drop # C47CR
10.865" Drop # 15902
11-1/2" Drop # 15903
18" Drop # C99CR
