Question:

Hi, I have a RAV4 2013. I need a new hitch to pull a small trailer. What products do you have that will give me the highest clearance from the ground? I have a pitched driveway entrance and want it to fit tight to the car carriage. Thanks

Hi Janine; the hitch with the best ground clearance for your 2013 Toyota RAV4 is the Curt # C13406. This measures 14-1/2" from the ground to the top of the receiver opening. It also has a concealed cross tube so that won't be hanging down in the way and gives it a nice clean look.

Since you plan on towing you will also need wiring and a ball mount. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56350 will plug into the connection points in the rear cargo area. This will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, check out the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches # C45534.
