Do you have any photos of the invisible base plate e44FV installed on a jeep wrangler JL? Also, do you have a link to the installation instructions?

Hi Tom; we don't have pictures or the instructions up right now for the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e44FV. What you can do is look at the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519336 since it is nearly identical and made by the same company.

I attached a picture below so you can see what the base plate kit will look like. There are more pictures available on the product page. I also attached a link to an installation video, along with the written instructions. The etrailer base plate does have two additional brackets so there is a slight difference between the two. If you order the # e44FV it will come with the written instructions.

For a complete setup you will also need a tow bar, safety cables, wiring, and a supplemental braking system. I recommend the following:

-etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e34ZR (includes safety cables)

-Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 (if you do not have ParkSense)

or

-Roadmaster Smart Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Wiring Kit # RM63MR (if you have ParkSense)

-Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes # SM99251

or

-Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Air Brakes # SM99243

You will need to choose the wiring based on whether or not your Jeep is equipped with ParkSense. For the braking system, you can choose based on the type of brakes you have in the motorhome. More than likely you will also need a high-low adapter. I have attached an article below which explains how to measure, along with a link to all of our available adapters for your reference.
