Question:

Is the etrailer Invisible base plate kit #e98948 the same as the Blue Ox base plate kit BLU53FR the same for Jeep Gladiator. I have a Blue Ox tow bar and are these both compatible. Looks like the etrailer #e98948 is a easier install then the Blue Ox BLU53FR on Jeep Gladiator.

Hi Dave,

The etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98948 and Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU53FR are designed slightly different, but both are compatible fits for your 2023 Jeep Gladiator. The # e98948 is going to be an easier installation since you won't have to cut into the frame rails and shows as a compatible fit with Blue Ox tow bars without the need for an adapter.
