Hello John. The InfiniteRule Lock # IR66FR is the best lock option for the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # DM15945. This lock was made specifically for the Demco eZ-Latch couplers, so it will work great for you.

To answer your second question, there is no hitch pin lock that can be keyed to match this lock, so you would have to keep two different sets of keys.

So you recommend IR66FR over this style to protect from theft? etrailer Trailer Coupler Lock - Flat Lip 1-7/8" and 2" Ball Couplers - Aluminum - Yellow Part Number: e98897

@JohnF Honestly those are both really good options. The # e98897 is my go-to for a universal lock. If your priority is theft deterrent for the parked trailer, this will be the better option. The # IR66FR is a great lock but this is more intended for locking the trailer to the ball mount. The # e98897 is the better option for a theft deterrent while in storage.

@JesseM will e98883 work on the Demco ez latch above thread to lock the coupler? Will it fit the span. I was thinking of buying the e68ZR kit and I think the e9883 is in it. Then I would have theft protection when hitched and for storage. Does this work for the ez latch. Also if I added a e98889 can all use same key? I was hoping to use the e98889 to lock the latch on the drop gate of enclosed trailer. Thx.

@JohnF The # e98897 will work with the Demco eZ Latch coupler, but the locking pin that comes with the # e68ZR kit is too short to work with the eZ Latch. The # IR66FR is a better choice for a locking pin but they would not use the same key.
