Question:

Good afternoon, I have concerns about installing this curt hitch C19101, I have seen and heard that the 4x4 bumper on my fifth wheel is not designed, nor does it have a weight rating to hold this hitch along with a 2 ebike bike rack that will probably weigh about 200lbs, bike and rack together. I hope Im just being overly cautious, but some insight would be most appreciated, and if there are any options or solutions to this situation that Im having.

No, you are exactly correct. Lots of people don't check to see if their bumper is rated for the Curt RV Bumper Hitch item # C19101 to be attached to it. This definitely will not work with your 5th wheel trailer.

You'll want to go with one of our universal options for your 5th wheel trailer, instead. I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch item # C13702. This hitch can be bolted or welded to your trailer's frame so long as it is no longer than 51" wide. It has a 500 lbs tongue weight capacity so you'll be good to haul around your e-bikes and carrier.

I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get this hitch set up.

That's what I figured, I've also seen some videos of the safety struts part#MO22FR being used to help support the bumper, would those be an option? or is my best bet to purchase one of the adjustable width trailer hitches. Thank again for the response, you guys at etrailer are fantastic!

@GeorgeC You could but another issue you're going to run into is that most e-bike bike racks that are rated for a 5th wheel trailer require a frame mounted hitch and specifically exclude bumper mounted ones. You would also want to check with your owner's manual to see if adding additional support would make that bumper capable of supporting a hitch and bike rack.
