Question:
Does CURT make a harness similar to the C55243 that does not have the factory end on the wires? I currently have a HOPKINS connector that is hardwired into the truck the factory connector was removed but I want to convert to the CURT model because I need to add a 7 pole connector in my bed to connect my gooseneck trailer. My thought was to remove the wires from the HOPKINS plug and splice them into the CURT harness.

Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out!
The best way to get what you're wanting is to combine both the Curt 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector # C55416 and the Curt Universal Wiring Harness # C56229.
Curt doesn't have something like the Curt T-Connector # C55243 with bare wires as a single kit so the parts I mentioned above will be what you need to use.
