Hello Randal. The Dexter Hydraulic Trailer Brakes # 23-342-343 cannot be converted to electric. Replacement parts for brake assemblies can be expensive too. So, even if they could be converted, it would likely be more cost-effective, and a lot less time-consuming to just buy new brake assemblies.
You can replace them with the following:
- Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 7,000 lbs # 23-180-181
