Question:

I need to purchase a hitch for a 2024 Ram 1500. I’m looking at the e76ZV. The one installed in the video was on a truck with dual exhaust, my truck only has single passenger side exhaust. Will this hitch still work?

Thanks for letting us help Brian. Great catch! Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e76ZV will definitely still work with your RAM with the single passenger side exhaust. This will likely make installation easier than what is shown in the video as there will be less to work around. This receiver will not work on models with the integrated bed step and also will not fit the classic body style. As long as neither of those things apply to your vehicle, you're all set.

Are you upgrading to the Class V receiver for a specific trailer, or are you mainly looking for some additional towing capacity?

I purchased a hitch from y’all not too long ago for a 2017 Silverado but it was wrecked and totaled. Got this truck recently and it didn’t have a hitch when I bought it. We have a show steer and need to be able to haul him around and I don’t trust towing the trailer on the bumper alone, so I guess to answer the question I’m just looking for more towing capacity. However the Ram IS the Classic body style, so what do you recommend?
