If I Install A Trailer Hitch Myself Will It Void The Factory Warranty?

I have a new 2025 Honda CR-V am thinking about the hitch model number 76128...........MY question is if I installed this myself does it in any way void the factory warranty ?

Hey Edward, thanks for reaching out. The Draw-Tite Class 3 Hitch # 76128 you mentioned is the correct hitch for the 2025 Honda CR-V. You can install this yourself and doing so will not void the warranty in any way. It is quite common for folks to install hitches by themselves at home. In fact, we encourage it! As long as you follow the instructions and don't skip any steps you will be good to go.
The Draw-Tite # 76128 will be fairly easy to install. You do have to use a fish wire (included) to get your hardware inside the frame. You will also need to temporarily lower the exhaust which it basically just removing a few exhaust hangers. If you are familiar with working on cars this should take you around an hour or so. We have a video that shows installation, and I have linked it for you below. Give that a watch it will definitely make the install easier. Let me know if you have any questions.
