Hi Carston,
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12009 is listed as a fit for sedan models only. It looks like we unfortunately don't have a custom-fit option for a wagon model so you'd have to go with a weld-on option instead. To do this you would need to measure your frame width and see how much of a drop you'd need from the frame to clear the rear fascia. We offer the following weld-on options, which will all fit an 18" to 44" wide frame width and any excess can just be trimmed off of the crosstube:
Draw-Tite
7" Drop # 41990-07
16" Drop # 41990-16
Curt
3" Drop # 15901
9" Drop # C47CR
10.865" Drop # 15902
11-1/2" Drop # 15903
18" Drop # C99CR

Hey Carston, what did you find when you measured the frame width on your Caprice wagon? Once you had those numbers, were you able to pick one of the weld-on hitches that fit best? Your update could make it easier for others working with older wagon models.
