Question:
I have a single axle sailboat trailer with 14” wheels. It uses L44649 1 1/16” ID bearings on the inner and outer position. It’s a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. I’m looking for a new hub. What are my options? I’m not sure what weight rating the axle is.

Hey Don, thanks for the information! For a replacement hub with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern that uses item # L44649 inner and outer bearings you'll want the CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly item # CE13315.
The CE Smith item # CE13315 is sold individually and works with axles up to 2,700 lbs. It has a galvanized finish which offers protection against corrosion. It includes lug nuts that are zinc plated, bearings, races, grease seal, grease cap, lug nuts, and a cotter pin.
