Hello Chad. According to Aries, the Swing Away Spare Tire Mount for Jeep Wrangler JL # AA2563001 is designed to work only with the OEM hinges, so this will not work with the MORryde Heavy Duty Hinges # MR97UR. The MORryde hinges are intended to be used with the # MR78DR Tailgate Reinforcement and the MORryde Heavy Duty Spare Tire Carrier For Jeep Wrangler JL # MR88DR.
