Question:

How do you check the fluid levels on Dexter DX Series Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator for Disc Brakes - 1,600 psi. I stuck my finger in and it was dry, dont want to over fill.

Hey Ron,

The Dexter DX Series Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator for Disc Brakes # K71-651 requires a 3/8" air gap below the fill port. I went out to the warehouse and checked one out and there honestly isn't any kind of marking or anything to really go off of so you'll have to eyeball it.

Hey Ron, how did it go topping off the fluid in your Dexter DX Series actuator? Did the 3/8-inch air gap below the fill port give you a good reference point? Your update could make it easier for the next person checking their fluid level.
