Availability Of 5 On 5 Hubs For A 1" Straight Spindle

Question:
I have an older boat trailer with 1” spindles. Do you have any 5x5 hubs that will fit a straight 1” spindle? The existing hubs are 5x4.5, but I have a set of brand new 5x5 wheels and tires I would like to use if I can. Thank you!

Hey Travis, I do appreciate you reaching out, but we do not offer any 5 on 5 hubs for a 1" straight spindle. All of our 5 on 5 hubs use the standard 3,500 lb axle spindle which is a # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) inner bearing and a # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) outer bearing. So, there is unfortunately no way to use your new 5 on 5 wheels with your boat trailer and you will have to stick with 5 on 4-1/2" wheels unless you want to replace the axle which is another conversation entirely.
