Question:
I have 1995 Jayco 1207 popup camper, and the entrance door latch isn’t working anymore. What type of latch could I use as a replacement? I’m not seeing the Decker 1042 door latch currently installed.

Hey Mark, I did some digging and was able to find your Decker 1042 door latch, and it looks like it has a 2 7/8" x 3 3/4" cutout. While we don't have a direct replacement, we do have the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock # BA54FR, which has a 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" cutout.
This latch is 1/8" smaller than the original, will fit doors that are 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" thick, and can be keyed alike to match other Buyers Products RV locks.

Hello thanks for the info, this latch comes with keys already correct? Not sure what you are referring to when you say can be "keyed alike". Are you saying that you can have the key's match other latch like this one? If this doesn't work am i able to return this latch?
