Question:
Do Dexter 7000lb axles for my 2012 Keystone Montana Mountaineer have a bow for camber or are they straight? as I just completed a 7000mi. trip and the right rear tire wore out on the inside. with no load on the axles i used a straight edge from drum face to drum face and that was good, measured spring eye to eye all good. but a straight edge on the axles they seem straight.

Hello Wallace,
It is standard for axles to have a bow, including 7,000 lb Dexter axles like part # 8327834. This allows them to straighten out when under a load.

Hey Wallace, did you get a chance to check whether your Dexter axle has that slight bow when loaded? Knowing how it looked under weight could help others figure out if their tire wear is from alignment or axle shape. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same issue.
