I have a 2010 GMC Savana 2500 passenger van and Id like to add a trailer hitch and a 7 way tow wiring harness. The van does not have factory wiring for any tow connector 4 or 7 way. I was wondering if there is a product that would I could plug into the existing wiring? I only saw one for a 4-way wiring harness

Hey John, I can definitely help with this.
For the trailer hitch for your 2010 GMC Savana Passenger Van I recommend the Curt Class 4 Hitch 14090. It has a 10,000 lb towing capacity and 1,000 lb tongue weight capacity. It is also a simple bolt-on installation.
For the wiring, there is a plug-in option for the 4-way, but if you want a 7-way, there will be additional wiring involved. What you can do is use the Curt T-Connector # 55540 along with the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. These two kits combined will contain everything you need to wire your van with a 4-way and a 7-way. This includes all of the necessary wires for a brake controller, like the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 which is what I recommend.
