Question:
I drive a 2020 Ford F150 Lariat. I am looking for taillights for a bike rack I use with the truck Hollywood Racks Destination E. I understand this year truck sometimes has problems with LED lights used through the 7-pin or 4-pin connectors. Can you offer some advice about that and related products?

Hey Chip, thanks for reaching out!
I recommend using the Load Resistor Kit # DI34ZR for your 2020 Ford F-150. I've used this kit for an LED hitch cover on a Ford truck before and it took care of the codes that would pop up on the screen.
If you don't already have an LED light kit for your Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack # HLY66ZR I recommend picking up the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 because they install with 3M adhesive backing so they are pretty universal. Hollywood Racks has an LED light kit, but it only secures on their bike racks that have square tubing, which the Destination E Bike Rack doesn't have.

Hey Chip, how did things work out with the load resistor kit and the Curt LED indicator lights on your F-150? Your update could make it easier for others running LED lights through their truck’s connectors.
