Hi Adam; the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX89FR you were looking at is a great option to pair with the # KOD87FR. This fits a 3" wide trailer tongue so you will need to make sure that is what you have. This will also require adding a 5-way to the trailer and your vehicle to use the electric lockout.

On the vehicle side you can use the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 5-Way Flat # C57187. If you already have a 7-way on your vehicle then you could use the Mighty Cord 7-Way RV Style to 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector Adapter # A10-7275VP instead. On the trailer side you can use the # HM47900.

For brake lines it depends on how many axles you have. If this is a single axle trailer you can use a kit like the # 18SI-BLKIT. If it is a tandem axle trailer we have the # 20TA-BLKIT.

The only other thing you need to check on is a brake flange. If you don't have a 4-bolt brake flange you won't be able to mount the disc brakes. Based on the brakes I'll assume this is a 3,500 lb axle that is 2-3/8" in dimeter. If that is correct, you can add them using the # 4-35. This is something you will need to take to an axle shop to have installed.

Hey Adam, how did your pontoon trailer setup go with the Dexter actuator and Kodiak disc brakes? Were the brake line kit and wiring adapters a good match for your setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person doing a similar upgrade.
