Ever had a fishing rod go overboard? The BoatBuckle Vertical Rod Hold-Down PLUS System ensures that your rods stay in place with robust polyester straps and hook-and-loop closures. These materials grip your rods securely, protecting them from damage and accidental loss. Your peace of mind while fishing is our priority.
Mounting your rod holders has never been this simple. Whether you prefer horizontal installation on your boat's deck or a vertical setup on the gunwale wall, this system comes with the necessary hardware. Tailor your setup to fit your boat's unique layout without hassle, making fishing trips more enjoyable.
No more dealing with tangled rods! The BoatBuckle system uses foam-molded inserts to organize up to eight rods, making it effortless to slide them in from either side. This system keeps your deck organized, so you can focus on reeling in the next big catch without any distractions.
The SUR-Grip rubber-coated handle ensures you can easily release your rods with one hand—no slipping, no struggle. Built for longevity, this feature enhances your fishing experience with convenience and durability that resist wear and tear.
Your fishing rods are valuable, and that's why this kit includes rubber grommets to shield metal hardware from scratching your equipment. Keep your rods in pristine condition while ensuring the safety of your gear as you navigate the waters.
Tight on space? Not an issue. The BoatBuckle system boasts adjustable dimensions, including straps that are 2 inches wide and 12 inches long, fitting snugly without crowding your space. This adaptable system conforms to your boat's requirements, optimizing your fishing setup for each outing.

Today we'll be taking a look at the belt buckle eight rod hold down system. Part number IMF15435. Keep as many as eight fishing rods ready to go on your boat's deck with the belt buckle rod hold down system. With the included hardware, it simply secures down to your boat's deck, and the strap comes over top, holding everything in place. The foam hold downs have accommodations for either end of your pole, allowing you to alternate for maximum storage. The hook and loop strap has a sure grip rubber handle for easy fastening and release. The strap itself is made out of a seat like polyester, so it's going to be strong and durable. Now that we've gone over the features, we'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed.
The first thing we need to do is pick a desired location for our hold downs. These can be mounted vertical or horizontal. We're going to mount them horizontal on our boat deck. Let's go ahead and place them in the general area we want them to be. We'll take off our hook and loop strap. I'm going to set one here, and then I'm going to set the other one up here.
Then I'm going to grab a fishing rod, and make sure the location's going to work. I'd say it will. Let's go ahead and fasten it down. To get these fastened down, let's go ahead and grab our tabs. It's going to be four per hold down. The nub is going to face down, and it's going to go in these slots here.
We'll just need to work our way down. Push them all the way through until the holes are aligned. With that done, we can go ahead and grab our straps, put them in place, then replace our hold down where we had it positioned. We'll need to make sure our strap can be closed up, as you see there. Then we can grab our included screws and fasten it down. Great, now let's do the same thing on our front one. Now we can grab some poles and put them in place.
That's going to complete our look at the belt buckle rod hold down system. Part number IMF15435.
I got these straps to use on my boat for my oars.
I think they will work very well.
Every time I order thru eTrailer it’s been first class. Good problem solvers as well.
Very pleased as a first time user. Product arrived quIckly and well packaged! Will be back for more!
Good product to avoid cutting fiberglass with a retractable type. It works great.
Looks like it will work great and avoid cutting fiberglass for the retractable type.
These straps were as expected and will work great in my boat. I will use these when on the water so I do not have to put the rods back in rod box when traveling down the lake. One of the screws that were include was defective. replaced it with a stainless steel screw.
Easy install and works great! This product is exactly what I needed.
I got this product in the mail after seeing a picture and description of it online. Since it is mid-december in northern New Jersey I haven't put it on my boat yet, but the quality is exactly what I hoped. The cloth and velcro seem to be stitched extremely well and the plastic grip that is made for pulling apart the velcro seems to be very sturdy. I can't wait to put this on my boat in the spring.
I suggest the product based on quality of the material...I expect good results.
I really do like my boat buckles because they just what they advertised, but for only being a year old they don't take the sun and elements very well. My buckles on the bow of my boat I use to hold my nets in place while I'm on plane seem to be holding up better the the 2 I use in the back to hold my rods down. When my boat is not on the water it is in a climate controlled barn so the only exposure they get is when out fishing (about 175 days a year) my rear buckles have already faded and began to curl and show signs of the elastic breaking down, this is the 2nd set I have replaced 5 years. But like I said, they do a great job
Just what I needed for my trolling rods
I haven't installed them yet so not sure how they will hold up? But I will say I like the odds. They appear durable, seem like they will be a great way to keep rods and reels up off the floor, secured to the gunwales and keep rods from breaking. I like the way they, attach simple system. I will update the review as they get used.
Very durable yet light weight. I have had these on my power drifter and they still hold up good even after having them for 2 years. I like this system cause I can simply secure them and not worry about them flying out of the boat or getting in the way of clients stepping on the rods. It really made more room in the boat to free up floor space not to mention there's no hard plastic on these so they don't rub or wear on the rod blanks. Highly recommend these for your boat. You will not be disappointed.
I have used these for years in our small fishing boat. Just added them to our blazer river boat to hold our salmon and steelhead rods. These rod holders work great. holds the rods where you put them. This is my third set of them. Had them mounted in the boat the same day I received them
Thanks
Randy
Great service fast shipping. Product looks great haven’t installed yet but should work well
Product was unusable. I should have returned but attempted modification, but it still did not work. Sits in a box where I'll probably throw out soon.
I do mostly fly fishing and run a guide service. I have been looking for a way to mount rod holders in my boat. I don't have a lot of room and when I saw the Boat Buckle rod holder I decided to give it a try. Great product and perfect for my boat and holding my fly rods.

The boat buckle is perfect Im very happy with the product.
Installed in my bass buggy pontoon boat since there were no fishing rod holders designed into the boat. The holders were easy to install, securely holds the rods in place, and are easy to use. Good quality material.

The covers have been exposed to the elements and does not show any fading or deterioration. The boatbuckel rod holder gets lots of use and is starting to show some wear. However the level of wear is expected and is still in overall good condition. I expect to get several more years out of it before needed to replace.
I have bought 2 sets of these one I put one in my boat. The other I put in my ice fishing rod holder box. I modified it slightly and glued it in the Ice rod box. These buckles protect the poles way better than anything supplied with an ice fishing rod holder box. Also the price is more than worth the value I highly recommend!!
I purchased these Boat Buckles to use as rod holders for the top of my SUV. After a year of using them i wouldn't change a thing. Not only do they hold down the rods securely enough to drive on the highway with them, but they hold enough rods that i can transport my friends rods as well.
I'm starting a project boat, and will most likely include these on the deck for when im moving to my secret fishing spots.
Easy ordering on line, great website and fast shipping!!!
Order arrived very quick.
Holds Rods in place. Dont have to worry about them flying out of the boat. Great product Very Happy with them. Had them now for a year, so far so good.

Thanks, the products are still working Great in fact one of the motivating factor of buying these from you was the low price you sell them for in fact Im going to order some of the same to outfit another boat i bought for my Fishing Guide Service. Thanks again for checking in with me really appreciate it.
The product has held up well. It holds the rods secure. You can put the product where it doesn't take up a lot of space. It is difficult to get more than 3 rods in the Boatbuckle.

So far so good! These holders work very well and serve the purpose of keeping gear stowed while underway, I haven’t busted another $300 rod tip since installing them! I would buy another pair if they wear out!
