Can I Put a Weight Distribution Hitch on a Legend Aluminum Enclosed Trailer?
Updated 08/01/2024 | Published 07/31/2024 >
Question:
I have a Legend Aluminum Enclosed trailer that I converted to camp in and haul dirt bikes. Im looking for a Weight distribution Hitch. I was looking at the B and W Continuum but realized it will not fit the aluminum hitch design. Which is essentially a 3x6 rectangle Aluminum tube. you can pretty well see what it looks like here https://legendmfginc.com/deluxe-v-nose-8/. Is there any sort of weight distribution hitch system that will work with this trailer? The trailer doesnt weigh much but I also haul 700 pounds of dirt bikes and tools in the back of the 2500 Chevy so the rear sags a bit and after 4000 miles of towing it seems to be really wearing out my front tires. Air springs were my other thought but looking for advise.

Thanks for the link! I took a look and there's nothing that will work with your trailer's tongue. We're going to need to address your sagging issue by adding some suspension enhancement to your Silverado. If you could comment below on your truck's model year and whether or not it's 2WD or 4WD I would be happy to make a recommendation.
