Updated 08/05/2024 | Published 07/30/2024

Question:

Why is this harness referred to as both 25foot in length and 21 - 30 Feet Long? How can I find out shipping cost to zip XXX? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out again, Dave!

The 25 ft. Wishbone 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness # A25W42B has 25' wiring but it's in the 21'-30' range which is why you're seeing that in the filters.

If you add this product into your online shopping cart you can look at the various shipping options to you.

Jon, I believe I asked this before on this harness but haven't located the response yet. My understanding is this wishbone style harness has two brown wires 25' long a yellow and a green 25' long and a shorter white ground wire. I believe also it may have a corrugated shroud over part of the harness too. Is this correct? As well I believe all of the wires are pre-split and therefore separate the full length of the harness up to the base of the plug. Is there a cap to put on end of the plug when not in use to keep moisture out?

@Dave Yes, the wishbone style has the wiring split so you can run functions down the sides of your trailer - there are 2 brown wires, one for each side of the running light circuit. It doesn't come with a sleeve like the Wire Loom # 7509-1, but you can purchase this part by the foot and add it to your wiring during the install. This kit also doesn't come with a cap (I don't think any of the Optronics harnesses like this come with a cap) but you can add one with the Curt # C58750.

jON, iT APPEARS THE DUST COVER YOU SUGGESTED IS FOR THE CAR/VEHICLE SIDE PLUG. Is there one for the trailer harness plug? (4 way flat trailer end plug)
