Trailer Brakes Lock Up In Reverse When Connected to Truck 7-Way

Question:
so have 5 pin connector from my trailor to my 7pin on truck. and every time time i put it in reverse the break locks up and cant back up am i missing something?

Rony, to fix this you're going to need to have to wire the reverse lockout on the coupler to your truck's connector, if you have a surge or hydraulic coupler, or if you have electric brakes then you need to check the connector on either the truck or trailer to see if it has been wired incorrectly.
Check out the FAQ I've attached that goes over trailer wiring so you can double check to make sure the connector is wired correctly.
