Comparing Trailer Brake Magnets # BP01-225 and # BP01-180

What is the difference in mag. with black or white wire?

The Trailer Brake Magnet, # BP01-225, that you have referenced is designed for use with 12 x 2 inch Dexter electric drum brakes for 7,000 pound capacity axles. A similar magnet, # BP01-180, fits Dexter 6K, Alko 6K and 7K after 1988 (excluding centerline), and Hayes 6K and 7K after 1988 (excluding centerline) 12 x 2 inch drum brakes.

Both magnets have 1 wire for ground, and 1 for power and it does not matter which wire is used for either function.
