Enclosed Carrier Recommendation for a 2013 GMC Acadia

I am looking for an enclosed hitch carrier for a 2013 GMC Acadia. I believe it has a 2inch hitch, and a 7 wire harness. I do want access to open the rear door of the Acadia, so can I look at the tilting carriers or am I stuck with the swing carrier? What about the 7 wire harness?

For a hitch mounted, enclosed carrier for your 2013 GMC Acadia I have to recommendations for you, but they are not the tilting variety.
Your best option would be the Yakima Exo Enclosed Carrier part # Y62VR that you referenced. This carrier will give you complete cargo area access unlike the other styles of hitch mounted carriers.
Next, I would suggest the GearDeck 17 # H00604. The GearDeck 17 slides out on a steel base for access to rear of vehicle and has built-in LED taillights. You should be able to open your door but the still base will be in your way to access it. This carrier uses a 4-way harness to activate the taillights of it. Since you have a 7-way you will need a 7-way to 4-way adapter like the part # HM47365.
