Hello Curtis,

Thanks for the question and by far the best suspension upgrade for your 2018 Jayco Octane Super Lite 272 is a replacement leaf spring system, the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570.

The # RM-2460-2570 work with tandem, 3" diameter axles, which I assume your Jayco has based on its GVWR (but if not, please do let me know). The reason I like the Comfort Ride more than any other is it gives you a brand new suspension designed specifically to improve your ride.

The hanger box it uses is light years better than a normal or upgraded equalizer because it allows individual movement of the leaf springs so movement is limited to one part at a time, and dissipates evenly. The other aspect of this is the gas shocks the Comfort Ride comes with, and these work in tandem with the springs and equalizer to limit motion and smooth out the rest of the suspension.
