Question:

Hey I have a 10,000 lbs. camper with about a 2,500 LBS tong weight. What air bag system would you recommend for a 2024 GMC Denali HD2500 and do you have one that doesn't need air in it all the time? Thanks Gene S

Thanks for reaching out, Marvin. For your 2024 GMC Denali 2500 I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613. These are 5,000 lb capacity bags which will be more than enough to level your ride and support your suspension while towing your camper. Air bags do require air in them at all times though. The minimum PSI is 5, so you will want to keep them filled to at least 5 PSI when you are not towing. Then when you need to tow you will hook up your trailer and fill the bags until the ride is level. All air bag kits will have a minimum PSI, so there is not an option that doesn't need air in it all the time.

You also have the option of adding an onboard compressor. I suggest going with a wireless compressor since the smartphone app control is so convenient. Here is what I recommend:
