Availability of Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier for 2011 Ford Fusion

I need to carry two kayaks on a Ford Fusion 2011. I also need to purchase a roof rack. I would prefer a kayak carrier that offers lift assist, but I’m not sure I can find any options that: 1. fit my make/model/year of car and 2. that will allow me to carry qt 2 kayaks. My current kayaks are ~10ft and weigh ~45 lbs each. I will be doing highway driving. Can you recommend roof racks and kayak carriers. With lift assist if possible, or without lift assist if that is my only option.

Hey Jeanel, we do have the Inno Aero roof rack part number # IN36BR that fits your 2011 Ford Fusion and would work great to carry a lift assist kayak carrier like the Thule Hullavator # TH898. This is a single kayak carrier but you can use two of these on your roof to carry each of your kayaks.

Hey Jeanel, how did the Inno Aero roof rack and Thule Hullavator setup work out for carrying your two kayaks on the Fusion? Your update could make it easier for others trying to haul similar kayaks on a smaller car.
