Can Curt A16 5th Wheel Hitch Head Be Upgraded to an A20 Hitch Head

Question:
Can I just replace the head unit on my curt 5th wheel to go from a 16k to a 20-24k and keep my existing puck rails and slide rails

Hey Jack, thanks for reaching out!
If you're currently using an A16 hitch head then yes, you can swap that out to a Curt A20 Replacement Head Unit # C16540. One thing to note though is that depending on the weight rating of your rails you may or may not see that increase to a 20K towing capacity.
