Hello I’m a first time buyer I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 8’ bed. I’m Curious about what fifth wheel hitch and full installation kit will be necessary for my truck I’m a diesel mechanic any help with part numbers for an easy one time full purchase would be awesome Thankyou very much

I highly recommend going with the B&W Companion kit for your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 long bed because it includes a gooseneck hitch as well as one of the leading 5th wheel hitches on the market. Not only does this mean you get a great towing setup, but it also means you gain the ability to tow gooseneck trailers if the need arises, and you get a completely clean bed when you aren't towing.
The parts you need to do this are # BWRVK3500-5W for the gooseneck hitch, and then # BWGNRK1394-5W for the Companion 5th wheel hitch.
