Can Weld-On Trailer Coupler Also Have Bolts Secure it

Question:

Hi on a weld on coupler, after welding could you also put 1/2 grade 8 bolts for added safety? thank you ,Michael

Hey Michael, there's no reason you couldn't do that. It would be a bit redundant but it wouldn't compromise the welds or the coupler in anyway.

Hey Michael, how did things go after you added the bolts to your weld-on coupler? It’d be great to hear if everything felt solid once it was in place. Your update could make it easier for the next person considering the same setup.

@JamHello to start off this hitch works great I had it welded in place, I went one step farther I picked up a couple grade 8 bolts , and drilled a couple holes and installed the bolts more so just a peace of mind on my part. I will say this I am very pleased with my purchase, Michael esonC
