Question:

I have a 2020 Chevy 2500 and I am wanting to add a reverse camera to my enclosed trailer, I was wondering what parts and pieces I would need exactly to be able to do that. Thank you for your time

Hey Bob, thanks for reaching out!

I recommend going with the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS05TASF as it's one of the most reliable on the market. The monitor is powered up by the 12V socket in your truck and then you just need to ground a wire from the camera and tie the other one into a power supply. I recommend the running light circuit so you can control when the camera comes on and you don't potentially have to run a reverse wire from your truck to the camera (if neither doesn't already have that function ran).

Please note that you'll also need the Power Adapter # FR87PR to get the power for the camera to send properly from your truck. This is the case for any camera system you install, and it has to do with the way they configured the 7-Way socket power in the newer GM trucks.
