Is There a Saris Superclammp Bike Rack that is Motorhome Approved

Updated 06/11/2024 | Published 05/31/2024

Question:

in the first review video for this rack Aiden part way through he is discussing the amount of play in the rack. He mentions there is an RV version of this rack and gives a part number that ends in HD, but as he does that, this is the image that comes up on screen not HD. This rack SA4025F is the one that comes up with the RV filter turned on, but this review seems to indicate this is not the RV version. None of these videos on this page are on RVs. Are any of them testing the version of the rack for an RV? Are all the specs the same such as weight per bike? is the RV version of the rack also both 2inch and smallerthat seems it would make it much weaker. I love the platform and the fact that I can put this on my ebike with fenders, but that amount of jiggle room is not comfortable to me when it is behind my 22 foot motorhome. Thanks!

Hey Meighan, we do have a version of the Saris Superclamp that is rated for use behind a motorhome with the part # SAR44VR which it sounds like is what you are looking for. This rack is rated for 60 lbs per bike and only fits 2 inch hitches.

Hi Jameson, is there a review or video for the RV version? all of the videos on that page are for the non-RV version of that rack (and shows the smaller hitch and the large amount of play in the hitch). I'd like to see something on the actual RV version if you have it. thanks! Meighan

@Meighan I attached a review video for the # SAR44VR below. I also attached a link to a review video of it in the hitch of an RV as well.
