Question:

Hello, I have a 2023 Ford Bronco with signature series LED taillights. I am looking at the RM8700 and wondering if I need the RM68MR. Your site says, With Signature LED taillights using RM68MR without Signature LED taillights. So, Im confused if I need to purchase it separately. Also, my motorhome already has a 7way plug. What other items do I need?

Hi Kameko; since your 2023 Ford Bronco has the Signature LED lights you will need to purchase the # RM68MR separately to complete the installation of the # RM-8700, In addition to the supplemental braking system you will also need a tow bar, base plate kit, safety cables, and tow bar wiring. I recommend the following:

-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM92ZR (with Ford Performance Heavy Duty Modular Bumper)

or

-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM79RR (with standard plastic bumper)

-Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522

-Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables # RM-645

-Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267

More than likely you will also need a high-low adapter. I have attached an article below which explains how to measure. Once you have your measurement you can choose from our available adapters using the attached link.
